WELCA

The St. Olaf Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (WELCA) meet monthly for Bible study and fellowship. From bazaars to quilting, their many service projects and events give opportunities to work together in our church and community.

There are several WELCA Circles at St. Olaf. Examples of some of the kits put together by the Circles include health kits, AIDS/Hospice kits, school kits, sewing kits, and layettes. The kits are then shipped to Lutheran World Relief.

For more information about WELCA visit Women of the ELCA.

Quilting

The quilters meet every Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. in the church basement. Everyone (men included!) is welcome to come and share their talents... whether it be cutting, piecing, sewing, tying... we have a place for you.

During the past year, over 200 quilts were made and given locally to people in need or shipped to Lutheran World Relief.
